FIND SOME ARTIFICIAL OR PLASTIC SNOW FIRST
Take a beginners lesson at a real snow indoor ski slope or dry ski slope as the bare minimum before you go.One hour there will save you about 5 hours at a resort Ski School. However leave a gap of at least 1 week before your holiday in case you get a minor injury which needs time to recover.
Dry slopes are cheaper than visits to indoor real snow venues. However these are more realistic and it does not hurt as much when you fall onto snow instead of the plastic matting at dry slopes.Always wear salopettes as jeans get wet at snodomes and plastic slopes can graze your skin through jeans very easily.
Lessons vary in length from 1 hour to 1 day.You have to be pretty fit to stay the pace on a whole day lesson. Two or three hours is a good compromise.
