General Travel Advice

Pack your toiletries and medications in your hand luggage.(For air travel check maximum volume of liquids allowed)

Take you favourite songs and talking books on your personal entertainment system.

Change places with others in your party a few times during the trip.

Do not go to sleep too early in the trip as it will be boring later.

Take a blow-up travel pillow and a few layers of clothes to adjust personal temperature.

Use the minimum number of bags, with wheels if possible, as you will have to carry your luggage at some point.
 
Boot bags are not a good idea as they are extra things to carry and cannot double up as a hand luggage in planes and coaches.So try to pack your boots in your main bag.

Try to make the trip part of the holiday
