The advice on this website is designed to help snowsport beginners get more from their first trips.
The advice has been gained from instructors in Scotland, the French, Swiss, Italian and Austrian Alps, East Coast USA and the Rockies and last but not least at a real snow slope in the UK.
Many clients have had some advice before they arrive in resort but some of it is misguided or ignored and this site offers basic advice on how to make your snowsport trip more rewarding.
The advice has been accumulated over many years of recreational and instructional skiing. It is NOT the instruction you will get at ski school but lots of advice that will make trips with schools, family and friends great from the outset.
When you need this snowsport advice.
Most of this advice is for before your first trip.It also covers your first ski lessons and when you go out on the marked pistes and trails yourself with your friends.
It briefly touches on some off-piste tips but you should get full and proper guidance before venturing off the marked ski runs.
